Dear Family & Friends,

 

         The dancers are very excited to perform for you!  They have been working hard in their classes for this special day.

 

       The Nutcracker is a Holiday Tradition for many dancers around the world. Our students look forward to finding out our which part they will perform each year. From the tiniest dancers at age 2, to the pre-professionals in high school, it’s a pleasure and our honor to work with each one of them. ​These kids will AMAZE you! We know this, because they amaze us every day, not just with their skill, but with their passion and thirst for learning.  Every production of The Nutcracker is different. Each company tells the story of Clara and her Nutcracker a bit differently. At Expressions Academy of Dance, we take pride in including every student at every ability. For us, it’s about creating life-long memories. These students are truly a blessing to have at Expressions Academy. Thank you for affording them the opportunity to dance and for being part of our Dance Family!

Please remember to use good theater etiquette. 

If you must leave your seat during the performance, please wait until the lights dim between acts to do so. There will be a 15 Minute Intermission. We will NOT have refreshments.... sorry!

You are welcome to bring a water bottle into the theater with you, but ONLY WATER in the theater.

NO VIDEO RECORDING.  NO PHOTOGRAPHY.

We have a PROFESSIONAL VIDEOGRAPHER. 

Relax and enjoy the show, while the professional gets the video!

Each family will receivea digital HD video of the performance. Be sure the email address in your dance account is curroct, as this is how videos will be deliverd (2-3 weeks afte the show).

PLEASE SILENCE YOUR MOBILE PHONE and DIM the backlight AT THIS TIME. Feel free to skim through the program throughout the show if your backlight it set to low. While it's helpful to be able to see the program in a dark theater, it can be distracting to the dancers on stage if you forget to dim your light. Thank you!

We all love a cute baby, right? PLEASE TAKE CRYING BABIES TO THE LOBBY UNTIL THEY ARE SETTLED.

Tiny Tots (Gingerbreads) will check-in at the beginning of intermission from the Lobby next to the holiday backdrop.

Students will be dismissed from the STAGE DOOR (back of the building) AFTER the show. All students will take a final bow for the curtain call.

Dancers must collect their belongings and costumes after the show. Please be patient when picking up. Pick-up your dancer at the stage door, using your card (wait outside).

In the event of rain, pickup will be from the lobby.
